This gorgeous editorial was in collaboration with the US based Southern Bride Magazine, and took place in the beautiful surrounds of the Shelbourne Hotel located just off Dublin’s famous Stephen’s Green. The theme of the shoot was inspired by the beautiful greenery and wild nature of Ireland and the iconic history of Shelbourne.

In the heart of the lush woodlands of Sligo and Juniper Barn, Kathryn and Patrick, a couple hailing from the sunny state of California, declared their love in front of close family and loved ones. They chose terracotta and mustard hues for their wedding colours.

The brief for this black tie wedding was modern elegance. I worked closely with the lovely Maria and Joanne of Maria Reidy Events for this one. We opted for a colour palette of pale pink, black and a warm ivory to tie everything together.

An earthy and tonal colour palette of terracottas, blush pinks and burnt oranges were the focal point for this relaxed modern boho celebration at the gorgeous Lisnavagh House in Co. Carlow.

When Amber of Styled By Amber asked me to be a part of this shoot, I jumped at the chance! From the initial mood boards, I could tell that this was a shoot I just HAD to be involved in!

2021 is finally upon us! A new year and a fresh start, despite much of the world still battling COVID-19. One of my favourite things to do at the beginning of each year is to plan out my business goals and aspirations. I wanted the very first blog post on my website to be an introduction to Last Colour Down, where it comes from, why it is different and a little about the person behind it all (that’s me, Deirdre, but everyone calls me Dee!)
